TAEKWONDO LADIES SET FOR WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS

Jordan’s top female Taekwondo fighters have arrived in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to compete at the G4 Women's Open World Championships, which get underway on Thursday.
The event welcomes over 170 fighters representing 36 countries, with Jordan’s squad including Yara Yassin (-57kg), Natalie Al-Hamidi (-62kg), Juliana Al-Sadiq (-67kg) and Rama Abu Al-Rub (-73kg).
Al-Hamidi will launch Jordan’s campaign on Thursday against Egypt’s Nadine Mahmoud.
On Friday, Yassin will meet the Greek fighter Kaiteki Vaidra in the round of 32, while Abu Al-Rub will meet the Asian silver medalist, Malika Mirhosseini from Iran.
Olympian Al-Sadiq will fight the winner of the match between India’s Maria Margaret and Russia’s Aleva Dzafriat on Saturday
