PALESTINE PRESIDENT RECEIVES JOC AND OCA DELEGATION

Palestinian President, Mahmoud Abbas, has received at the presidential headquarters in Ramallah a delegation from the Jordan Olympic Committee (JOC) and the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA), in the presence of the President of the Palestinian Olympic Committee, Lieutenant-General Jibril Rajoub.
During the meeting, the President Abbas highlighted the depth of Arab-Asian relations and the importance of participating in the exchange of sports experiences in the interest of all parties.
The JOC delegation was led by Dr. Sari Hamdan, Vice-President, and included Nasser Majali, Secretary General, and Mohammed Al-Zamamiri from the International Relations Department.
Dr. Hamdan conveyed to the Palestinian President the greetings of HRH Prince Feisal Al Hussein, President of the JOC, and also stressed the strength of relations that unite Jordan and Palestine with strong will to consolidate relations in the field of sport field by sharing sports experiences between the two sides.
Mr Majali highlighted the solid fraternal ties that unite the two countries, pointing to the constant communication between the JOC and our brothers from the Palestinian Olympic Committee in order to implement joint projects that serve sport in both countries, and the continuous quest to increase this cooperation.
