AL HUSSEIN INTERNATIONAL EQUESTRIAN RACE IS UNDERWAY

Under the patronage of HRH Princess Alia Bint Al Hussein, President of the Royal Jordanian Equestrian Federation, the Al Hussein Endurance Race will take place on Saturday and Sunday mornings in the Wadi Rum region in southern Jordan.
The race has attracted 120 riders representing Kuwait, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Slovakia, Italy, Sudan, Egypt and Jordan.
The participants start at 6am Saturday for the local race, which consists of categories: 40km, 80km. The first round of the 180km international race will also start, where the contestants will cover 90km.
Sunday will witnessed the junior and youth categories for a distance of 100km and 120km for the youth category, and the second 90km round of the 180km race.
