ARAB CHAMPIONSHIPS MEDAL RUSH FOR JORDAN SWIMMERS

Following a successful opening day by winning seven medals at the Arab Short-Course Swimming Championships in Abu Dhabi, UAE, Jordan have added a whopping 12 medals on day two!
The event is catering for various age groups and the team’s first gold was secured by Ziad Al-Salous in the 100m breaststroke.
Four silver medals were picked up by Nadine Fanous (50m butterfly), Amr Hussein (100m breaststroke), 4x200m freestyle male relay team (14-15 years) and the 4x200m female freestyle relay team (14-15 years).
Three bronze medals were won in the 50m butterfly in their various age groups by Muhammad Al-Badour, Hadi Al-Abed and Ziad Al-Salous, while bronze medals were also secured by Maryam Mithqal (100m breaststroke), Adnan Al-Abdallat (200m freestyle), 4x50m male relay team (14- 15 years) and 4 x 50m female relay team (14-15 years).
