JORDAN PROMOTES ARCHERY WITH FIRST OPEN TOURNAMENT

The sport of Archery has received a boost after its first Open tournament was held in co-operation with the Royal Jordanian Shooting Federation at Al Hussein Youth City.
An impressive 28 male and female archers competed over two days in four categories: Olympic archery and primitive archery for both sexes.
The new federation is keen to grow the sport as it is a popular part of the Olympic programme.
