JORDAN FACE SYRIA IN DAVIS CUP OPENER

The Jordan Tennis Federation hosts the Davis Cup qualifiers starting from Wednesday at Al-Hussein Youth City featuring nine nations with the event to run until Saturday.
The nine countries will be divided into three groups, with Group A featuring Hong Kong, Kuwait and Malaysia, Group B featuring Vietnam, Qatar and Oceania, and Group C including Syria, Sri Lanka and the host nation.
The top two from the group stage will advance to the second round and the winners of those matches will qualify for the three spaces available.
Jordan’s squad includes Saif Adas, Musa Al-Qutb, Hamza Al-Aswad, Karam Hatamleh and Ahmed Al-Hadid with coach, Rafik Bouchlaka, leading the preparations.
