MULTIPLE RECOGNITION FOR JORDAN ON ASIAN LEVEL

No less than seven Jordanian sports leaders have been included on the latest Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) committees that will help to develop sport across the continent.
Jordan Olympic Committee (JOC) President, HRH Prince Feisal Al Hussein, will continue to head the OCA Peace Through Sport Committee, a position held for the past two years.
JOC Secretary General, Mrs Lana Al Jaghbeer, has been elected as a member of the OCA Sport and Women Committee for the second time, while Olympic 2016 Chef de Mission and three-time Olympian Nadin Dawani has been elected to the Asian Athletes Commission.
JOC Board Member, Engineer Bakir Al Abbadi, has been elected to the OCA Sport and Environment Committee following the work he has done as head of the JOC Sport and Environment Committee.
JOC Sport for All President Mr Waleed Rahahleh joins the OCA’s Sport for All Committe while Dr Kamal Al Hadidi, President of Jordan Anti-Doping Organization (JADO) is elected to the OCA Anti-Doping Committee.
The JOC’s Knowledge, Education and Training Manager Narine HajTass, will join the Training and Education Committee, while the JOC Federations Affairs Manager, Rana Al Sa’ed, is elected to the Information and Statistics Committee.
“It is a great honour to be recognised by the OCA in so many sporting fields,” said Al Jaghbeer.
“It underlines the great work that is being down by officials and employees at the Jordan Olympic Committee in growing sport in Jordan across all fields.”
