PRINCESS HAYA WINS MAKTOUM SPORTS AWARD

Her Royal Highness Princess Haya Al Hussein has won the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Creative Sports Award.
HRH Princess Haya was recognised for the work carried out during her Presidency of the International Equestrian Federation from 2007-2014, when she spearheaded the development of the sport.
The judges noted the work she has done in promoting transparency and environmental conservation efforts as well as creating an independent arbitration system.
Her Royal Highness also established the Solidarity International Federation of Equestrian programme which supports the development of the sport globally.
