Nancy Al Hendi has become the first Arab woman to obtain the black belt (7th dan) in taekwondo.
Nancy achieved the landmark following tests held at the Prince Rashid Hall in Al Hussein Sport City.
“I am delighted to have achieved this,” she said. “Taekwondo is at a very high international level in Jordan and I hope this inspires other women to enjoy the sport and do their best.”
