MORE WORLD KARATE MEDALS FOR YOUNGSTERS

Jordan have continued their tremendous form at the WKF Cadet, Juniors and U21 World Championships taking place in Santiago by adding three bronze medals today.

Afif Gaith took the -55kg bronze after losing the semi-final to Algerian, Ayoub Al Hassan. His teammate, Abdullah Hammad, won the 61kg bronze medal after losing to Azerbaijan’s Mohammad Hussein in the last four. The third bronze came through Hassan Masarwahin in the -68kg category.

It means Jordan have won an impressive seven medals at the event, following on from the two gold, silver and bronze medals won the day before.
