HRH PRINCE FEISAL RECIEVES INTERNATIONAL PARALYMPIC PRESIDENT

HRH Prince Feisal Al Hussein, the President of the Jordan Olympic Committee (JOC) and IOC Executive Board Member, has received the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) President, Andrew Parsons.
HRH Prince Feisal highlighted the role that Jordan is playing to make sport inclusive for all and praised the IPC for developing disability sport across the world.
Parsons was invited by HRH Prince Feisal to attend the ongoing 2nd West Asian Para Games in Amman.
He expressed his happiness for being in Jordan and attending the Games which have welcomed over 700 athletes representing 12 countries.
Parsons has also visited the Jordan Paralympic Committee and the Olympic preparations Centre.
BASKETBALL RISE ON INTERNATIONAL RANKINGS
Jordan have gone up an impressive 12 places on the FIBA International Rankings following their participation at the Basketball World Cup held in China.
Jordan are up to 37th after collecting 290.2 points, and second on the Arab level following Tunisia, who moved up to 33rd.
Jordan qualified to the World Cup for the second time in its history after Turkey 2010 where the played five matches, losing four but beating Senegal in their last match.
