JORDAN SIGN OFF WORLD CUP CAMPAIGN WITH HISTORIC WIN

Jordan have completed their participation at the FIBA Basketball World Cup with an historic win on Monday.
After a challenging tournament which saw three group defeats and then a defeat to Canada on Saturday, Jordan signed off with a 79-77 win over Senegal in Shanghai, their first in a World Cup finals.
It means Jordan finished 28th from the 32 teams involved. It was an epic match with Jordan going into a 22-16 first quarter lead before Senegal bounced back to lead by half time.
There was little between the sides in the third quarter before Jordan finished the stronger to secure the morale boosting victory.
Dar Tucker top scored with 34 points and was supported by Musa Al Awadi (18), Zaid Abbas (8), Fadi Ibrahim (8), Yousef Abu Waznah (5), Ahmed Al Hamarsheh (3) and Mahmoud Abdin (3).
