JORDAN WIN FIFA WORLD CUP QUALIFIER

Jordan have got their second qualification group to the Qatar 2022 World Cup off to a flyer in Chinese Taipei.

Goals from Baha Faisal and Ahmed Samir were enough to secure a 2-1 Group B win ahead of the next qualifiers against Kuwait (October 10) and Nepal (October 15), before meeting Australia on November 14.

This is the second phase of qualifiers to the World Cup, which double up as qualifiers to the 2023 Asian Cup in China.
