JORDAN LOSE TO GERMANY AT FIBA WORLD CUP
Sep 05, 2019
Jordan have lost their third and final group game to Germany at the FIBA Basketball World Cup in China.
The Europeans proved too strong, running out 96-62 winners in Group G, leaving the Jordanians empty handed from three games after defeats to Dominican Republic and France.
Germany were ahead 28-17 after the first quarter, before extending it to 48-36 at the half time break.
The tempo dropped as the players tired with Germany taking control of the third and fourth quarters for the 34-point loss.
Next up though they will face Canada for their first placement match which will determine where they end up from the 32 teams entered. They will also meet Senegal.
