FIVE MEDALS FOR JORDAN AT WORLDS

Jordan’s Ju-Jitsu team have won an incredible five medals at the 2019 Chungju World Martial Arts Masterships in South Korea. Hussein Al-Rasheed secured a gold medal in the -85kg weight with a superb series of performances that culminated in a final victory over Kazakhstan’s Ruslan Israelov.
Basil Fanous won silver in the +85 kg while there were bronze medals for Haider Al-Rasheed (-85kg), Yara QaQish (-70kg) and Zaid Sami (bronze +85kg). Muay Thai fighter, Abdullah Al-Sardih, lost his first round to Thailand’s Man Kong in the -71kg.
