STIEBING NAMES HIS FINAL SQUAD

Jordan coach Joey Stiebing has narrowed his squad down to a final 12 players ahead of the FIBA World Basketball Cup which gets underway this weekend in China.

The American coach has left out Malik Kanaan and Zain Najdawi from his final squad which includes Zaid Abbas, Mousa Al Awadi, Ahmed Hamarsheh, Mahmoud Abdeen, Mohammed Shaher, Ahmed Al Dwairi, Dar Tikr, Ahmed Obeid, Yousef Abu Waznah, Amin Abu Hawas, Jordan Desouqi and Fadi Ibrahim.

Jordan are in a group with the Dominican Republic, France and Germany and begin their campaign against the former on September 1, followed by France on September 3 and Germany on September 5.
