JORDAN SET FOR WORLD COMBAT CHAMPIONSHIPS

Jordan have sent a team of Muay Thai and Ju-Jitsu fighters to South Korea for the World Combat Championships being held in Zhengzhou.
Jordan will be represented by Ju-Jitsu athletes Yara Kakish (-70kg), Haidar Al-Rasheed (-85kg), Hussein Al-Rasheed (-85kg), Zaid Jarunda (+85kg) and Basil Fanous (+85kg). Zaid Abul Saud, coach and Mohamed Khair assistant coach will be in charge.
Muay Thai’s Abdulrahman Al-Sardih will be joined by coach, Yasser Abu Safia, at the event.
The athletes travel in good shape having won six medals, including one gold, three silver and two bronze at the Asian Ju-Jitsu Championships. Al-Sardih last month managed to win two bronze medals at the World Championships in Bangkok.
