NEW JORDAN RECORD AT FINSWIMMING JUNIOR WORLDS

Jordan’s Finswimmers have shown excellent form at the 16th Finswimming World Junior Championships in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt.
Mahmoud Al-Sawalma set a new Jordan mark in the 100m double fin, recording a time of 50.42 seconds to beat Omar Awartani previous best of 50.44 seconds.
Sohaib Al-Bawana, 15, came close to setting new national records in the 100m monofin and the 400m monofin.
Al-Bawana and Al-Sawalma are joined in Egypt by Abdulrahman Al-Bari and Aysar Mazaydeh, with Monis Al Momani, Head of delegation, and Mahmoud Al Shamma, coach.
