MORE LIFESAVING TRAINING

An initiative that strives to improve the health support and treatment for athletes has held another crucial training course.
The Qusai Initiative was created by the Crown Prince Foundation and is managed by the Jordan Olympic Committee and has concluded its latest training course for 37 health practitioners who work in the sports industry.
Specialists Dr. David Carr and Eva Frank travelled in from the USA to support the local trainers for the seven-day course.
The initiative was created in the aftermath of the tragic death of Qusai Al-Khawaldeh, a young footballer who died on the pitch, and has already succeeded in saving lives and improving the initial treatment for injuries.
