WORKSHOP FOR HANDBALL COACHES

The Jordan Handball Federation will hold a workshop tomorrow for trainers, with German support.

The event will take place at the Federation in Princess Sumaya Hall at Al Hussein Youth City, and will be held in cooperation with the German Agency for International Cooperation and the German Handball Federation.

Representatives of clubs from across Jordan are expected to attend with a focus on how to coach and develop young players.

An agreement will also be signed between the parties on conclusion of the event as well as a cooperation agreement with the American University to aid further develop of the game.

The Federation is concentrating on growing the sport with more than 600 players currently being trained, according to President, Dr Tayseer Al-Mansi.

He also stressed the importance of expanding their work, thanking the solid support from the Federation’s Board of Directors.
