JORDAN PAIR INTO WORLD SEMI-FINALS

Abdulrahman Al-Saradih and Abdullah Al-Jabareen are both into the semi-finals of the World Muay Thai Championships in Bangkok, Thailand. Al-Saradih, 23, beat Vietnam's Tong Nguyen in his -71kg quarter-final, following on from his opening victory over the Czech Republic’s Stephan Juba.
He will next face Kunseib Man of Thailand in Saturday semi, but is guaranteed a bronze medal at the least. Al-Jabareen beat Palestine’s Khaled Abu Hazza to book his spot in the U23 81kg semi-final, following on from his opening knock-out win over Chinese Taipei’s Gao Sion Seo.
He will also face a host fighter, Sklird Saknarong, for a place in the final and is also guaranteed a bronze. Saif Zaqzouq was unable to reach the last four in the 60kg category, losing to Nhat Nguyen.
