FIGHTERS IMPRESS AT WORLD MUAY THAI

Jordan’s fighters have continued to win at the World Muay Thai Championships taking place in Bangkok, Thailand.

Saif Zaqzouq picked up his second win in the 60kg category, beating Greece's Simon Ananiadis with a knockout to follow on from his win over Frenchman, Sfiani Medar, to set up a match with Vietnam’s Nhat Nguyen on Thursday in the quarter-finals.

Abdulrahman Al Saradih beat Czech Republic’s Stjepan Juba to reacher the last eight of the -71kg for the U23 class. He meets Vietnam’s Tong Nguyen on Thursday.

Abdullah Jabareen launched his campaign with a win over Chinese Taipei’s Zhao Sion Seo in the 81kg U23 category. Next for him is Palestine’s Khaled Abu Hazza.
