Natali Hmaidi has won a final silver medal for Jordan on Monday at the 10th WTA & Cadet Asian Championship which it has hosted at Prince Hamzah Hall in Al Hussein Youth City.
Hmaidi, who competed in the Youth Olympics last year, enjoyed three victories before losing to Iran’s Yalda Fallingad in the final of the -64kg weight.
That silver medal took Jordan’s haul to seven for the tournament, following the gold picked up by Fahed Ammar in the -78 kg competition and silvers for Ahmad Al Tamimi (-51kg), Hala Malkawi (-52 kg), and Sara Abu Haj (-68 kg).
Mohammed Al-Tarayra (-45kg), and Raseel Al-Shukairat (-46 kg) both won bronze medals.
