AL-SAJAN QUALIFIES TO ASIAN FINAL

Mahmoud Al-Sajan has qualified for Saturday’s final of the -84kg competition at the 16th AKF Senior Karate Championships in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

Al-Sajan will face Iran's Borashab in the final after victories over Tajikistan's Javhir Heydarov, Uzbekistan's Abdul Aziz Atabov, India’s Akshay Kumar and reigning champion Ri Taro, of Japan.

Meanwhile, Jordan has the chance of four bronze medals on Saturday with Abdul Rahman Al-Masatfa (-67kg), Mohammed Fahed (-60kg) Nicola Kabush (+84 kg) and Kholoud Hussein (-55 kg) all in with a chance.
