JORDAN READY TO HOST ASIAN TAEKWONDO CHAMPIONSHIPS

The best young Taekwondo fighters in Asia are starting to arrive in Amman for the 3rd Asian Cadet Championship which starts at Prince Hamzah Hall in Al Hussein Youth City on Sunday.
The national team has been finalising its preparations with a final domestic camp at the Olympic Preparation Centre, where training has intensified to put the fighters in their best possible shape.
The team director, Faris Assaf, told us: “This tournament will help us to improve the development of some of our younger fighters who have the chance to go for glory in front of their own fans. “We have a unique group of young fighters who are in the best shape possible after successfully competing in a number of international tournaments. Now they have the chance to prove themselves at home.”
Our national team Juniors: Maya Khatib, Fadia Kharfan, Ayat Hussain, Zaid Kabariti, Islam Sharqi, Sara Al-Qaraan, Malak Hayasat, Maysa Nassar, Jude Sakour and Juri Jamouri.
Al-Ashbal: Layth Abu Rayyan, Anas Al-Zu'bi, Saif Abu Saud, Omar Abu Diab, Mohammad Abu Khadra, Khalil Al-Khadra, Ahmad Al-Qureini, Zaid Dars, Musa Funch and Amran Al-Attar.
Trainers: Raed Kanaan, Yazen Sadiq, Mohammed Al Bakhit, Aref Al Zawahra and Rao Salim
Young Women: Rassil Shakirat, Ruaa al-Husami, Joud al-Ajrami, Bassien Abed Rabbo, Halal Malkawi, Lynn Rawashdeh, Yara Yassin, Ruaa Al-Lozi, Natali Hamidi, Sara Abu El-Hajj.
