15 NEW RECORDS AT SWIMMING CHAMPIONSHIPS

Jordanian swimmers have set an incredible 15 new national records at the Summer Swimming Championships organised by the Jordan Swimming Federation over the past five days.
More than 100 swimmers from took part in all age groups, with rising star Adnan Al Abdallat setting six new records and Maryam Methfgal setting four. Amr Hussein also recorded a hat-trick of best Jordan times.
The new records were: Adnan Al Abdallat: 200m, 2:16.47; 100m, 1:02.81; 50m butterfly, 31.40 seconds; 200m butterfly, 2:40:50; 100m butterfly, 1:09.33; 400m medley, 5:28.25.
Maryam Methfgal: 100m breaststroke, 1:21.56 minutes; 100m, 1:02.71; 50m breaststroke 36.50; 50m 28.52 seconds. Amr Hussein: 100m breaststroke, 1:18.73; 200m breaststroke, 2:50.44 minutes; 50m breaststroke, 35.34. Bassel Al Salahin: 100m, 1:05.70; 400m, 4:59.50.
