MORE JORDAN GLORY AT KARATE LEAGUE

Jordan have won more medals at the World Karate Federation Youth League being held in the Croatian city of Umag on Sunday. Abdullah Hammad clinched gold and Zaki Abu Qaoud won bronze on the closing day of the championship, which has welcomed 2,700 players from 73 countries.
Their success means the national team finished with an impressive five medals, including one gold, three silver and one bronze.
Hammad, who took part in the Youth Olympics last year, followed up his gold at the opening Karate Youth League event in Cyprus by winning his -61kg category once again.
Abu Qaoud also repeated his first leg result by winning a second bronze in the juniors’ +70kg. Jordan previously won nine medals in the opening Cyprus leg.
