JORDAN PARALYMPIC MEDALS IN TUNISIA

Jordan’s Paralympic team have won gold and bronze on the first day of the World Para Athletics Grand Prix in Tunis, Tunisia.
Ahmed Hendi threw a brilliant 37.10m to take gold in the discus, while his teammate Ayman Al-Jabour won bronze in his discus category with a throw of 29.4m.
Jordan will continue their hunt for medals with Abdullah Al Shafei taking part in the shot put for blind athletes, while Hendi will also compete in the shot put for his category.
Nabeel Maqableh runs in the 5,000m for the blind while Amer Abdul Aziz competes in discus. The tournament is part of the nine-event world series, and has welcomed 344 athletes from 34 countries.
