KINGDOM’S YOUNG BOXERS IMPRESS

The depth and strength of Jordan’s up and coming Boxing talent has been there for all to see at the National Junior Boxing Championships held Al Hussein Youth City.
In the opening competition, 80 fighters born in 2005 or 2006 have competed across 12 weights with the finals set for Monday at 5pm. On Tuesday, the competition for 100 boxers born in 2003 or 2004 will get underway.
The tournament is being watched by officials from the national federation who are keen to develop the next generation of fighters to represent Jordan.
Upcoming tournaments include the Asian Juniors Championships which will be held next month, and the Asian Youth Championships which will be held in October in the UAE.
