SWIMMERS HEAD TO BULGARIA

Jordan has sent its national swimming team to Bulgaria to compete at an international juniors meet in the city of Burgas from June 21-13.
Bashar al-Shaer will head the delegation, with coach, Yahya al-Salti, in charge of training the squad consisting of Saif al-Hataba, Ziad al-Salouss, Hamza al-Basha, Farah al-Rawashdeh and Nadine Fanous.
A total of 166 swimmers representing 17 countries are expected to participate, which is dedicated for athletes between the ages of 13 and 16.
The Jordan Swimming Federation is hoping to use the event to provide plenty of international experience for their youngsters looking to step up to the national team in the coming years.
