JORDAN TO HOST ARAB CLUB HANDBALL CHAMPIONSHIPS

Jordan will host the 35th Arab Handball Club Championships from September 23-October 3, but prior to that will it will stage the Arab Super Cup between Tunisia’s Al Taraje and Qatar’s Al Gharafa on September 22.

The confirmation came at a signing ceremony held at the Federation headquarters in Princess Sumaya Hall, at Al Hussein Youth City.

“We are delighted that the Arab Union has placed their trust in us to host these events,” said Dr. Tayseer Al-Mansi, President of the Federation.

The Secretary General of the Arab Handball Federation, Abdullah Elayyan, praised the important role that Jordan has played in promoting the sport in the region.
