JAPANESE DELEGATION VISITS OLYMPIC PREPARATION CENTRE

A high powered Japanese delegation has visited the Olympic Preparation Centre in Amman.

Led by Deputy Chief of Mission to Jordan, Masahiro Tada, the delegation was welcomed by Nasser Majali, Secretary General of Jordan Olympic Committee, who introduced the world-class facilities and explained the role that the Centre plays in developing top level Jordanian sport.

The visit enabled the two sides to discuss closer sporting cooperation, particularly as Tokyo will be hosting the next Olympic Games in 2020. Tada expressed his hope that Jordan will be taking a large delegation, and underlined the support that will be provided to the athletes by the Kingdom’s Japanese Embassy.
