3X3 TEAM HITS ASIAN CUP FORM

Jordan have won their opening two group matches at the 4th Asian 3x3 Basketball Cup to reach the knock-out stages in the Chinese city of Changsha.
Jordan opened their account by beating the much-fancied Japan, 21-15, before going on to defeat Turkmenistan, 21-10, to win Group B and book a quarter-final spot.
Malek Kanaan starred in the Japan win, notching nine points, while Yousef Abu Wazanah and Mahmoud Abdeen grabbed six points apiece.
Abdeen then took centre stage in the second match, netting 12 points with Kanaan adding six and Abu Wazanah, three.
The national team will meet the second-placed team in Group A, which includes Mongolia, Australia and South Korea.
