JOC SIGNS PARTNERSHIP AGREEMENT WITH AL MARKAZIA TOYOTA

The Jordan Olympic Committee (JOC) has signed a partnership agreement with Al Markazia Toyota to support Jordanian sport and its athletes.

The ceremony, held in Toyota Headquarters, was attended by the JOC Secretary General, Nasser Majali, and Mr. George Haddad, The General Manager of Toyota.

Based on the partnership, Toyota will be the golden sponsor for the JOC for the next two years. Toyota is signed up for Olympic Partner Programme for the International Olympic Committee from 2015 and till 2024.

Majali expressed his happiness at the partnership which will provide strong support to the movement. “We are very happy with this partnership as Toyota is one of the most outstanding Olympic partners worldwide,” he said. “We appreciate their support for athletes with only one year to go until the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020.” Majali also pointed out that this partnership is part of the National strategy for sport which aims to help athletes reach the highest level.

Haddad added: “It is an honour to be working with the at an exciting time for sport with the next Olympics being just around the corner.” Toyota previously signed a sponsorship agreement with athletes from the Olympic Preparation Programme to assist them in reaching the top of their sports.
