KARATE YOUNGSTERS HEAD TO CYPRUS

Jordan’s young Karate stars are heading to Cyprus to participate in the World Youth League in Limassol.
The event takes place from May 3-5 and is expected to attract 1,600 fighters from 61 countries.
The team travels in good confidence following their strong showing at the Asian Junior, Youth and Under 21 Championships last week, where they won 13 medals in Malaysia.
The national team will be represented by Saeed Najjar, Mohammed Al-Jaafari, Zaki Abu Qaoud, Afeef Ghaith, Omar Shaqra, Basheer Al-Faouri, Abdullah Hammad, Hassan Masarwa, Yazen Al-Wahr, Ibrahim Shamoun, Saleh Al Salhah, Mohammed Al Rantissi and Rahaf Abu Ghosh, Lojain Shammout, Lynn Mansour and Tala Abu Al-Roz.
