AL WEHDAT MOVE TOP OF GROUP A

Al Wehdat have returned to the top of Group A, boosting their chances of qualifying through to the West Asian knock-out stages of the AFC Cup.
The Jordanians beat Lebanon’s Al Nejmeh, 2-0, thanks to goals in each half for Bahaa Faisal and Saleh Rateb.
Al Wehdat hold a slender lead at the top from Syria’s Al-Jaish and Palestine’s Hilal Al-Quds, who they will play next on May 15 at the King Abdullah II Stadium.
