GYMNASTICS CENTRE HOLDS CHAMPIONSHIP

Under the patronage of the Jordan Olympic Committee Secretary General, Nasser Majali, Al Awda Gymnastics Centre’s four-day tournament concluded on Sunday.

The event welcomed more than 200 gymnasts, who were able to showcase the improving level of the sport in Jordan, and it encouraged youngsters to perform in a competitive environment and gain vital experience.

“This is the second time that we have held this event, and we could see an improvement already on the previous year which is very encouraging,” said Adel Odeh, Director of the Al Awda Centre.

The tournament was attended by international referees, Munir Saqr and Mohammed al-Akhdar.
