BRONZE MEDALS FOR JORDAN

Jordan has returned from the Arab Billiards Championships in Dubai with three bronze medals.

The men’s team – consisting of Ahmad Al Jalad, Ahmad Al Aqili, Sluieman Ajaj, Shaker Wahdan and Hassan Kurdi - finished with bronze after losing to the UAE A team in the nine-ball semi-final.

And there were further bronze medals for rising star Esam Hayel in both the eight-ball and nine-ball Junior competitions.

The tournament attracted the best players from 11 Arab nations.
