JORDAN JUMP 17 PLACES IN FIFA RANKINGS
Nov 08, 2015
Jordan’s brilliant form recently has seen them leap 17 places in the latest FIFA world rankings released over the weekend.
World Cup/Asian Cup qualifying wins over Australia and Tajikistan and a friendly win over Iraq were behind the jump up to 82, the biggest mover inside the top 100.
A dreadful 2014 saw Jordan slump to 117 in the rankings, but a fine run of unbeaten games this year has resulted in the dramatic move up the table. They play a friendly match against Malta this week in preparation for their next qualifier against Kyrgyzstan next week.
Belgium top the list, followed by Germany, Argentina, Portugal and Chile.
