BELGIUM TAEKWONDO TEAM ARRIVES IN AMMAN

Belgium’s top Taekwondo fighters have arrived in Amman for an intensive training camp at the Olympic Preparation Centre.
The fighters, including world -63kg No 1, Jawad Ashab, will train alongside their Jordanian counterparts until April 15, bringing valuable international experience to both sets of fighters.
Jordan has a strong reputation worldwide in the sport, and the Centre is also becoming recognised as a regional hub of training excellence for international athletes. Head coach Faris Al Assaf has welcomed the Europeans and looks forward to strong cooperation between the two nations.
“The Belgian team has some of the best players in the world, and their presence here will help is in our preparations for the World Championships next month in Manchester," said Al Assaf.
Other nations will include a trip to Amman as part of their preparations, with Moldova set to arrive Sunday.
