JORDAN OPEN OLYMPIC CAMPAIGN WITH A DRAW

The Jordan women’s football team have been held to a draw in their opening match at the second round of qualifiers for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
Playing in the Uzbekistan capital of Tashkent, Jordan drew 0-0 with Hong Kong at the Transportation Institute Stadium in Group B. The hosts, who Jordan play next on Sunday, lost their opening match 2-1 to Vietnam who top the group. Jordan will need to win the group to advance to the third qualification tournament.
