BIG ENTRY FOR INTERNATIONAL ENDURANCE RACE

The Jordanian Royal Equestrian Federation has completed its preparations to host the 2018 International Endurance Race, which will get underway on Saturday morning in the Al-Ktaifa area.

The event will consist of races over 40km and 80km for local competitors and then 80km and 120km for the international field.

Over 100 riders are entered from Saudi Arabia, UAE, Sudan, Egypt, Slovakia and Jordan, making this the biggest field since the event was introduced five years ago. The Committee has completed the technical and logistical arrangements, including finalising the competitive routes.

On Friday, the horses will undergo their medical examinations from 3pm, ahead of the race start at 6am on Saturday.
