JORDAN TO HOST DAVIS CUP QUALIFIERS

Jordan will be hosting the fourth group of Asian qualifiers for the Davis Cup in September, the International Tennis Federation (ITF) has confirmed.

The Jordanian Tennis Federation (JTF) said the event would attract more than 60 players from 15 countries, with President, Eng. Hazem Adass, saying that preparations are already underway to prepares venues, transport and accommodation.

“This is great news for Jordan and will be an excellent event for the Kingdom to host,” he said. “Jordan has hosted these qualifiers before so we are looking forward to welcoming back our colleagues at the ITF and thank them for their confidence in us to host such a prestigious event.”
