SOUTH KOREA TAKE HOLD OF ASIAN JUNIOR FENCING IN AMMAN

South Korea have emerged as the dominant force at the Asian Junior Fencing Championships being held in Amman.
With more than 700 fencers from 32 Asian countries as well as New Zealand and Australia, the tournament has been a glowing spectacle involving some of the best emerging talent and will continue through to March 8.
South Korea took the top three places in the women’s Sabre class, while the country’s Jang Minhek won gold in the men’s Epee, beating Japan's Takeshi Riosi in the final. South Korea's Anne Tayeong and Nikita Nikita shared bronze.By the end of the sixth day, South Korea continue to top the overall medal table with 21, including nine gold, five silver and seven bronze.
Japan are second with 15 medals (four gold, three silver and eight bronze). China are third with 11 medals including two gold, three silver and six bronze.
