LIFTERS HEAD TO IRAN

Jordan’s Weightlifting team have arrived in Iran to take part in the Fajr International in Cup Tehran, running from March 2-4. The delegation includes Ismail Ibrahim Al-Amayan, Chef de Mission; Ismail Sobh, Manager; and Ali Al-Jabri, Head Coach.

Hamza Al-Ajrama (55kg), Zaid Al-Jabri (61kg), Walid Lafi (73kg) and Khaled Aboudi (89 kg) are the four lifters going for glory.

The Fajr International Cup is one of the qualifying rounds for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics for the silver class, which includes 10 qualifying tournaments.
