AZZAM SET FOR WORLD SKI CHAMPIONSHIP

Jordan skier, Suhail Azzam, is set to represent Jordan at the Alpine World Ski Championships taking place in Sweden.

The 35-year-old made history by becoming the first Jordanian skier to compete at a World Championships last year, and is hoping to make an impression on the slopes this weekend.

The Jordan Olympic Committee created a Winter Games Committee to enable athletes who are participating in snow sports to compete for their country across the world.
