KARATE TARGETS THE NEXT GENERATION

Jordan’s next generation of top level Karate fighters are being sought by the national federation.

The best in the Kingdom have all been in action this weekend at the National Karate Championship which has been held at the Prince Rashed Hall in Al Hussein Youth City.

Fighters from Asateer Al Ordon Club finished on top with seven gold, two silver and four bronze medals while Maan Centre clinched 16 medals in total, including five gold.

Al Fahad Al Aswad finished third. The event was organised by the Jordan Karate Federation who are looking to create strength in depth to provide competition for places in the national team.
