BAHRAIN DOMINATE ARAB CROSS COUNTRY CHAMPIONSHIPS

Bahrain runners have dominated the Arab Cross Country Championships that were hosted by the Jordan Athletics Federation on Saturday.
The event attracted over 400 runners from 14 Arab countries and it was held at the Bisharat Golf Club, the same venue that staged the 2009 IAAF World Cross Country Championships.
Jordan made home advantage count with three bronze medals in the team events for youth, juniors and women’s races.
The countries that took part were Morocco, Algeria, Iraq, Djibouti, Bahrain, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait, Tunisia, Lebanon, Yemen, Palestine and Jordan.
