JORDAN ARRIVE IN UAE FOR AFC ASIAN CUP

Jordan have arrived in the UAE as outsiders for the 17th AFC Asian Cup but will be confident of springing some surprises.
The tournament gets underway on Saturday and will run through until February 3, with Jordan placed in Group B where they launch their campaign against favourites Australia on Monday.
This will be the Kingdom’s fourth appearance in the finals having competed in 2004, 2011 and 2015.
The 24-man squad includes: Amer Shafei, Motaz Yaseen, Ahmad Abdulstar, Tareq Khattab, Yazan Al Arab, Mohammad Al Basha, Anas Bani Yaseen, Bara Meri, Firas Shelbayah, Salem Al Ajaleen, Baha Abdulrahman, Obeidah Al Samarneh, Khalil Bani Attyiah, Ahmad Sameer, Saeed Murjan, Saleh Rateb, Yousef Al Rawashdeh, Ahmad Al Erssan, Yazan Thaljji, Yaseen Al Bakheet, Musa Al Tamari, Baha Feisal, Udai Al Qarrah and Ehssan Haddad.
