JORDAN TO HOST ARAB CROSS COUNTRY CHAMPIONSHIPS

The Jordan Athletics Federation has announced that it will host the Arab Cross Country Championships at Bisharat Golf Club on January 5.

President, Saed Hyiasat, said that runners from 14 countries will take part with an alternative track through the Jordan Valley also prepared should adverse weather affect the Club.

Jordanian runners will be hoping to make home advantage count as they bid to compete at the Asian Championship that will be held in Qatar next year.

Jordan successfully hosted the IAAF World Cross Country Championships at Bisharat Golf Club back in 2009.
